When Is The Best Time To Exit My Timeshare?

If you are looking to exit your timeshare there really is no time like the present. Freeing yourself from the burden of timeshare is not only a liberating feeling, but also gives you financial freedom. There are many reports of timeshare owners going against timeshare companies in court and winning. More and more people are wanting ‘out’ of their timeshare and here at Timeshare.lawyer we want to help.

Obviously, timeshare companies are all about making money, so the last thing they want to do is let you walk away. The longer you are a timeshare owner, the more money the timeshare companies make. Contacting your resort directly is unlikely going to result in them just agreeing to terminate your contract. It is always advised that you seek assistance from a timeshare expert. An expert will have the knowledge of timeshare law and will have the experience of dealing with timeshare companies. They will know all the tricks and tactics the timeshare companies are likely to use.

Timeshare companies are renowned for being ruthless in their sales techniques, so it comes as no surprise they are just as conniving with the tactics of keeping you as they use to sell to you. They may convince you to ‘upgrade’ timeshare products, explaining that this new deal will be so much more beneficial to you but if you are looking to exit from your current timeshare, why would you really want to sink more money in to another product? If the sales tactics don’t work, timeshare companies can become quite threatening in the hopes that it will deter you from leaving.

“If you believe you were mis-sold your timeshare or think you have illegalities within your timeshare contract do not delay in getting the help that you deserve. Exiting from your timeshare will give you financial peace of mind, so why wait?”

The increase of timeshare owners fighting back against timeshare companies is encouraging more people to want to do the same and this is understandable. Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing how long this will last. In recent years millions of people have been successful in claiming for mis-sold PPI claims and this has now been capped and all claims have to be submitted by 29th August 2019. This deadline was set by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). As of yet nothing has been mentioned about a deadline being set for people looking to exit their timeshare and then seek compensation but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen.

This by no means is a scare tactic to encourage you to rush into something you aren’t ready for, it is just something for you to take into consideration.

“If you are looking to exit your timeshare or seek compensation there is no better time than now. With so many people doing the same thing why not strike while the iron is hot! The sooner you start the process the sooner you can start reaping the rewards”.
